Delly Belly Hindi Movie Review

Delhi Belly the most awaited Aamir khan production movie stariing his cousin Imran khan has hit the screens world wide on 1st July.
The movie is produced by Aamir khan himself under his own production banner.

The film is directed by Abhinav Deo.

CAST:
Banner: Aamir Khan Productions, UTV Motion Pictures
Starring: Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Vir Das, Shenaz Treasury, Poorna Jagannathan
Music: Ram Sampath
Producer: Aamir Khan, Ronnie Screwvala, Kiran Rao, Jim Furgele
Director: Abhinay Deo

STORY:
The film is about the troubled journalist Tashi (Imran Khan) and his gang that comprises of photographer Nitin (Kunaal Roy Kapoor) and cartoonist Arup (Vir Das). Tashi is all set to marry his flight attendant girlfriend Sonia (Shenaz Treasury).

To make matters worse, his girlfriend dumps him. A bizarre turn of events finds them involved in a really tough situation. Their lives are at stake.
The film ‘Delhi Belly’ as expected is filled with adult content and outrageous hidden actions that were made so obvious to understand for a mature viewer.

Aamir Khan, one of the producers of DELHI BELLY, had repeatedly mentioned in interviews that it has foul language and is strictly for adults.True, the film is not for the kids. All the characters mouth the F word every now and then. But that's perhaps the way urban youth behave today.

PERFORMANCES:
The cast of the film has done an impeccable job. Imran Khan will certainly leave an impression with his-out-of-the-league act in the film. Kunal Roy Kapoor too is worth appraisal but renowned stand-up comedian now turned an actor Vir das truly stands out. He is slowly and steadily proving his worth . Talking about the female cast Shenaz is impressive whereas Poorna is someone to look out for in future.
Director Abhinay Deo executes the script written by Akshat Verma (also the Associate Director) well. However, he does take some time to get along with the story. The  film has just the right amount of twists, to hold your attention.Perhaps, some more humorous moments would have done the trick. But never the less the movie is entertaining.
Ram Sampat's excellent music is superbly interspersed with the narrative. All the songs just appear in the background and are apt for the various situations. The Bhag D.K. Bose song comes at a very funny moment.

Minus:
The editing could have been still good

FINAL VERDICT: A crazy movie with a whole some of entertainment and adult humour
