STORY: The film starts with Karthi (Jeeva)being introduced as a cool and typical Chennai guy who leads a peaceful and fun filled life with his family and friends. He hails from a middle class family. His father is a call taxi driver, mother’s a housewife and has a sister too. He is unemployed. In a marriage he see’s priya (kajal agarwal) and instantly falls in love with her. She also starts loving him in a while. There love goes smoothly for a sometime. Then her father comes to know about their love. The story takes an unexpected twist when Jeeva's father Jayaprakash get killed by gangsters. Jeeva's father being a call taxi driver happens to witness a girl being kidnapped in his car. After hearing the news of the kidnapped girl's death Jayaprakash straightaway seeks the court complaining about the incident. With Jayaprakash being the only eye witness, the gangsters kills him in order to erase evidences and eye witness. Shocked by the unexpected death of his father Jeeva (Karthi) sets off to take revenge on the gangsters.

PERFORMANCES: Karthi has been growing as a hero and a actor and his films are running very well in Telugu is well. All his previous films in telugu are hit. He has performed very well in this film, his action scenes ae very good and his chemistry with Kajol is good to watch. Kajol was ok in the film and she, as in her previous films over acts in many of the scenes. Jayprakash as Karthi's father has done a good and efficient job. All the other characters in the film are apt and have done justice to their roles.
The main asset of the film is the music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The music has been a hit and the background score is also very good.
Cinematography by Madhi & Art direction by Rajeevan slides the frame into every angle giving the viewers a peek into a realistic middle-class family.

The first half of the film is very good and enjoyable, but the second half is dragged a bit and the ending of the plot is not very good. Director has done well, except for some loop holes in the second half.
