Will Krishna get the custody of his daughter back? How Vikram’s wife passes away? What is the dark past of Vikram? How he turned as a mentally challenged person forms the rest of the story......

Analysis:
This story is inspired from Sean Penn’s I Am Sam movie. But the story is brilliantly changed to the local nativity and sensibilities. Earlier Ajay Devgn did this movie in Hindi as Main Aisa Hi Hoon. But vikram has performed extraordinarily in the role and he has done his role superbly.
Vikram has never failed to reach the kind of expectation he had set amongst the audience. The audiences can surely feel the hard work of Vikram, as he gave his best to the role of Krishna.
Anushka has come out with her best ever performance as the lawyer. She once again proved that she is not an actress confined to only skin show. Sara as vennela is the show stealer as Vikram's daughter, the attachment between the father and daughter is shown very well and seems like a reality. Especially the court scene is well picturised which will make each and every one emotional.
Amala Paul plays the role of a teacher and had done reasonably well. Nassar, who played the cunning and clever public prosecutor, is extraordinary in his crucial role.

First half of the film is completely dedicated to develop the father-daughter bond. Every scene is cute and heart warming in the first half. The first half of the film is predictable and moves at a slow pace. The real twists and story is in the second half .Suddenly the pace picks up and the movie races ahead.
The comedy in this movie is absolutely situational
he film gets heavier as it reaches the climax and the best part of Nanna is definitely it. Last scene in the court touches you and leaves you with a lump in the throat. Most of the audience can’t help but cry in those heart touching scenes where the father and daughter just speak to each other through signs.

The ending of Nanna is brilliant too.  we walk out of the theatres with heavy hearts. Nanna is not for masala movie lovers.
G.V.Prakash's music is good and heart touching.

Plus Points:

- Vikram’s performance
- Anushka's performance
- Climax
- Background score

Minus points:

- Dragged a bit in the first hour

VERDICT:  The film is nice and its a feel good movie. The feel may get good response from the audience of both telugu and tamil. Its worth your money.
